Success isn’t success if it’s mine alone

Too often we think of success in terms of a winner and a loser, the truth is that real success keeps in mind the hard to remember truth that we are all interdependent. If I see loss or cause loss in another that has a direct effect on me.  If I rejoice in another’s loss I rejoice in loss itself.

Wonder

Like a child seeing something magical, no fear, no regrets, no limits to what can be; if we can forget to fear for a moment in time we can again experience wonder.

It started with a girl trapped by the lies of her father.  It turned into an unlikely little troll becoming her savior… for a price. Now it is an impossible riddle to search for the name of the demon who demands her child for saving her. There is still hope, but there is nothing sure about her fate unless she can find the name, Rumpelstiltskin.

Frozen in Time Sleeping Beauty Awaits Her Prince

The part of a love story that makes it so wondrous is so often the time before that love was there. The time of waiting; often it is the searching for salvation, but in this case it is more a tale of the seasons.  As Winter waits for Spring, sleep is naught, but waitingfor the coming of the dawn.  Respecting the waiting is what allows us an appreciation of the gift.

May those who wait appreciate even this for it is only in being that we can wait and being-ness is the great mystery we are blessed to participate in now.
